Biography
A mostly self-taught environmental, lifestyle and relationship photographer, I like to describe my style as natural, artistic and romantic...like the San Francisco Bay area I live in. My journey in the world of photography began with trying to immortalize the beauty of nature through my lens. Being a nature-lover, I love to capture the artistry of landscape & seascapes. And where there are beautiful sceneries, there are always people, men, women, children, couples, friends, families captured by my finger on the shutter, giving life and story to my photos. Through the years, the inevitable grew...a passion for capturing faces, expressions, emotions that make each person uniquely awesome and beautiful.

In 2018, I had my first formal family photo shoot with a wonderful couple and their one-year old son. The photographer they hired for the afternoon had cancelled, so my wife volunteered me. We all had fun and they were so pleased that they used some of the photos for their Christmas card that year. The following year, I shot my first wedding in San Diego, California. With my knack for capturing images of raw emotion and always being in the moment with my subjects, the end results are not just beautiful photos but stories of a thousand words captured during those special moments that will last a lifetime.

Since then, I've been blessed with opportunities to capture 1st birthdays, family photo shoots, events such as Dayton Airshow, concerts, maternity and newborn photo shoots... The world and its wonders never cease to amaze me; capturing a baby's smile, a love exchange with a simple look, or icing smashed in a little girl's hand as she samples this colorful thing they call cake...As with landscapes and nature, the Art of Now moves me to find the beauty within each person, their feelings and emotions during that moment, that special event, that quiet episode when they can just be who they are. This allows them to relax and enjoy wherever they are during the photo shoot. Those are the priceless moments I cherish as I capture them with my camera, experimenting with different techniques, styles, and other creative ways to provide clients with unique and great-looking images.
